Figure 7.05 is a
chart of the blood alcohol concentration
levels of drivers involved in fatal
alcohol related crashes. Almost three
quarters (72%) of the drivers had blood
alcohol levels at or above the legal
limit of 0.08. In fact, 4% of the
alcohol related fatal crashes involved a
driver with a blood alcohol concentration
level over 0.30.
