Males ages 20 to 29 years old
represented the greatest number of
motorcyclist fatalities (Figure 5.07). In
1997, there were 22 fatalities, a 13%
decrease from 1996. For the past 10 years
the number of motorcyclist fatalities has
fluctuated each year. The low occurred in
1995 with 11 fatalities and the high was
in 1988 with 31 fatalities (Figure 5.08).
