1.06 shows that the highest percentage of
crashes occurred on Friday.
However, crashes occurring on Sundays
were two times more likely to involve a
fatality compared to crashes that
occurred on other days of the week. The
majority of Sunday fatal crashes occurred
during the early morning hours.
These crashes tended to be alcohol
related which increases the likelihood
for a fatality.
